In honor of Hon. Jeffrey Sauter - former Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney, Eaton County Circuit Court Judge, and MATCP Board member

The Hon. Jeff Sauter Award will be presented during a banquet on February 29, 2024 at the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan's winter conference. Winners will also receive one night's lodging at the conference.

Criteria for Award

Prosecutors / Assistant Prosecutors who have made outstanding contributions to treatment courts and their clients. In general, the award is for contributions to treatment court and support of participants.

• Year long demonstration of "daily, extraordinary work."

• This criterion would demonstrate the prosecutor having gone "above and beyond" the normal bounds of duty.

• This individual will have contributed to the impact on participants and/or the treatment court team.

2019- David Wallace, Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Huron County

2018- Gregory W. Russell, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Kalamazoo County
