Please join faculty & staff from Justice for Vets for a 2-day Boot Camp for Veterans Treatment Court Mentors. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the 2-day seminar.
This is a no-charge event, brought to you by MATCP & Justice for Vets. A light breakfast and lunch will be served both days in Capitol III & IV.
Registration and Continental Breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16th.
During the lunch session on Thursday, May 16th, the Michigan Supreme Court State Court Administrative Office, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, and WMU-Cooley Law School will be holding a press conference between 12:30 & 12:45 p.m. to announce the release of “Veterans Treatment Courts in Michigan: A Manual for Mentors and Mentor Coordinators”, a compilation of best practices used by mentors to address the needs of veterans who are on a journey to recovery from addiction, serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders after being confronted with non-violent criminal charges.

Parking: The Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol offers all overnight guests valet parking for a nominal fee of $20.00 per entry. Temporary self -parking is available on a space available, first come, first served basis in the city-owned ramp conveniently connected to the Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol via a climate controlled pedway. The current parking rate is $1.50 for each ½ hour, maximum of $15.00 per day.
