Problem-Solving Courts

This special session is intended to provide a succinct analysis of the essential components of a problem-solving court. It is essential that new teams and new team members have a fundamental understanding of the underlying philosophy and processes that are key to developing and maintaining a successful problem-solving court.
The session will offer the basic elements of each subject matter by an experienced faculty member, a packet of the most up-to-date materials on how to operate your problem-solving court and a platform for understanding the more thorough substantive educational sessions presented at the Thursday and Friday sessions of the MATCP Annual Conference. For experienced problem-solving court members it offers an opportunity to hear about new research and strategies in key subject-matter areas.
THIS SESSION IS OFFERED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE & IS OPEN TO BOTH CONFERENCE ATTENDEES AND THOSE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE. LUNCH IS INCLUDED.
